As Chairman of BondAdviser, Matt is responsible for the leadership of the Board including:
- Facilitating correct and relevant information flow to the Board
- Ensuring effective functioning of the Board including managing the conduct, frequency and focus of board meetings
- Composition and structure of the board and communication of its views, in conjunction with the CEO, to the organisation’s security holders, broader stakeholders and to the public
- Supporting the Managing Director
Matt joined in April 2024. Previously he was a Managing Director at Toscafund, a UK based hedge fund. Matt is an experienced investment professional, with 25+ years’ experience in securities, asset management, investment management, hedge funds, and derivatives.
In prior roles Matt was a Managing Director at Bank of America Merril Lynch, where he was Head of EMEA Specialist Sales in London and Head of Australian Equities in Sydney. Matt started his career in Equities Research where he rose to the title of a Director at ABN AMRO Bank in London. Matt is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Melbourne Business School and Melbourne University.
